English Teacher, a British indie/punk band made up of Lily Fontaine, Lewis Whiting, Douglas Frost and Nicholas Eden, met at Leeds Conservatoire in 2020, and have since released singles including The World's Biggest Paving Slab, Nearly Daffodils, R&B, A55 and Good Grief.

In 2023, the four-piece signed to Island Records, before performing on the BBC's Later... with Jools Holland, and earlier this year the group released their debut album This Could be Texas.
